The Missouri Aviation Historical Society was recently honored to host current Navy Captain/Boeing WSO Dana “PERK” Perkins for the August 2014 meeting. Perkins currently serves as a Naval Reserve Assistant Chief of Staff and instructor at the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center, NAS Fallon, Nevada. Missouri Planes Take Home Awards at OshKosh 2014

The Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) annual Airventure fly-in was recently held at it’s usual spot in Oshkosh Wisconsin. The Missouri Aviation Historical Society recently teamed up with HEC-TV to record and honor WWII veteran Tom Mohan. Tom flew as a gunner in the SBD Dauntless, and was able to fly again in the very same type during the 2014 Spirit of St. Louis Airshow and S.T.E.M. Expo. Spirit Airshow and S.T.E.M. Expo Roars into St. Louis
