American Eagle Aircraft Company

The American Eagle Aircraft Company was founded in 1925 by Edward Porterfield, Jr. at the intersection of Prospect Ave. and 52nd St. in Kansas City, Missouri. A few years later it moved to the Fairfax airport in Kansas City, Kansas under the name American Eagle Aircraft Corporation. It later merged with Wallace Aircraft and even later with Lincoln Aircraft before being purchased by its original founder under the name of Porterfield Aircraft.
